We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join a well-established building and construction company based in Cairns.

This position plays a key role in supporting Project Managers with the administration and coordination of contract documentation, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with tender processes including issuing RFQs and managing subcontractor communications
  • Review and interpret contract documentation, drawings, and specifications
  • Coordinate subcontractor and supplier engagement and pricing
  • Maintain document control and project records throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor and track variations, costs, and contract performance
  • Support Project Managers with reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
  • Attend project meetings and maintain accurate records and actions

About You

  • Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator within construction
  • Strong understanding of contract administration and project processes
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
