We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join a well-established building and construction company based in Cairns.
This position plays a key role in supporting Project Managers with the administration and coordination of contract documentation, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with tender processes including issuing RFQs and managing subcontractor communications
- Review and interpret contract documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate subcontractor and supplier engagement and pricing
- Maintain document control and project records throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor and track variations, costs, and contract performance
- Support Project Managers with reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
- Attend project meetings and maintain accurate records and actions
About You
- Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator within construction
- Strong understanding of contract administration and project processes
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
