Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a proactive and highly organised Maintenance Coordinator to support multiple healthcare facilities across the region. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment and enjoys being the central point of coordination for maintenance operations.

You’ll provide centralised coordination, administration and system control, while on‑site technical decision‑making remains with the Facility Manager. Your work directly supports safe, compliant and reliable healthcare environments — where every maintenance action contributes to patient care and operational continuity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as the regional first point of contact for maintenance requests and FM enquiries
  • Logging, prioritising, tracking and closing work orders in the CMMS
  • Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities across multiple healthcare sites
  • Scheduling subcontractors and internal trades, ensuring access, permits and documentation are in place
  • Monitoring SLA performance, identifying delays or risks, and escalating where required
  • Supporting preventative maintenance programs and compliance documentation
  • Preparing reports, defect logs, maintenance summaries and routine correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate CMMS data to support audit readiness
  • Supporting WHS, environmental compliance and safe systems of work
  • Ensuring professional, timely communication with hospital stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in facilities maintenance coordination or a similar role
  • Experience in complex or regulated environments (healthcare desirable)
  • Strong contractor coordination and stakeholder communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational capability
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of WHS, risk and compliance requirements
  • Trade, technical or FM qualifications (desirable)

Who You’ll Work With

  • Facility Managers
  • Regional Engineering Team
  • Help Desk & Operations Support
  • Hospital stakeholders and department representatives
  • WHS & Compliance teams
  • Subcontractors and service providers

Why Join Cushman & Wakefield?

  • Work with a global leader in facilities management
  • Support meaningful work in critical healthcare environments
  • Be part of a collaborative, supportive and values‑driven team
  • Access national career pathways across IFM, engineering, operations and leadership
  • Contribute to safe, reliable and high‑quality healthcare service delivery
