Business Development Officer

THE ROLE

This role provides a unique opportunity to bring your commercial experience into a public sector setting to expand offerings to Victorian Seniors Card, Victorian Carer Card and Victorian Companion Card programs.

The Business Development Officer reports to the Manager, Card Operations and Seniors Festival and is responsible for establishing, maintaining and growing private partnerships to offer discounts and access to more than 1.5 million card holders across Victoria.

As part of your role, you will deliver essential discount offerings that provide cost-of-living relief to Victorians, that support initiatives that encourages them to get out and about.

You will drive revenue through targeted advertising assets and campaigns. You'll expand locations where card holders can use their card, across metropolitan and regional areas of Victoria.

Accountabilities Include

• Develop, set and deliver annual business development plans to grow business participation in the program area and generate revenue from Seniors Card advertising sales.
• Grow and maintain business participation and discount offerings for the 3 card programs.
• Initiate and manage projects that provide benefits to card holders across the 3 card programs
