Job Description
- End-to-end payroll processing across multiple client portfolios
- Interpret and apply relevant awards, legislation, and compliance requirements
- Manage payroll queries and provide exceptional client support
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing cycles (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
- Maintain payroll records and reporting with high attention to detail
- Handle superannuation, PAYG, and statutory obligations
- Reconciliations, audits, and payroll reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery
- Support system improvements and process enhancements
The Successful Applicant
The Ideal Candidate Will Bring
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll (preferably outsourced or high-volume environment)
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple clients or payroll streams simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused mindset
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Micropay, Chris21, or similar
