The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is responsible for protecting and managing one of Australia’s most iconic coastal landscapes. We care for parks, reserves and marine environments along the Great Ocean Road, including internationally recognised visitor sites. Working closely with Traditional Owners, communities and stakeholders, we protect environmental, cultural and heritage values while supporting sustainable visitation and long‑term conservation.

About The Role

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Housekeeper to join our team at the Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park.

In this hands-on role, you’ll play an important part in delivering a positive and memorable experience for visitors by ensuring our cabins, amenities and shared spaces are consistently clean, safe and welcoming. Set in a stunning coastal environment, this role offers great variety and the chance to be part of a close-knit, supportive team.

As part of the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA), you’ll also contribute to caring for one of Victoria’s most iconic destinations.

What you’ll do

  • Carry out cleaning duties across cabins, amenities, kitchens, offices and public areas at the Lorne site
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation for all guest-facing facilities
  • Assist with linen handling, stock rotation and general upkeep
  • Provide friendly and helpful support to guests as needed
  • Report maintenance issues and customer feedback promptly
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in cleaning, ideally in hospitality, accommodation, healthcare or a similar setting
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • A positive, proactive attitude
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Good time management skills

Additional Requirements

  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Valid Australian working rights
