The role

We're looking for a P&C Operations Associate to join our TA Operations team on a 12-month maximum term contract. You’ll be at the heart of a high-performing, people services function that delivers efficient, compliant and customer-focused recruitment and onboarding services, as well as supporting the broader P&C Support function and stakeholders across our Sydney, Melbourne and Perth properties.

You'll play a key role in supporting high volume people-related activity, allowing the business to scale, whilst creating positive and professional employee experiences. This role is based in Melbourne, but we're also open to Sydney or Perth!

You'll be

  • Providing high quality People & Culture operational and administrative support across the employee lifecycle, with an initial focus on recruitment and onboarding

  • Coordinating and monitoring pre-employment and background checking activities, ensuring completion in line with policy and legislative requirements

  • Supporting candidates, people leaders and P&C teams with operational queries, delivering timely and professional service

  • Maintaining accurate employee data, records and documentation across HR systems, including Workday

  • Promoting and supporting self-service tools through Workday and People & Culture Hubs

  • Assisting stakeholders in navigating P&C processes and systems

  • Supporting administration for contingent worker engagements and related operational queries

  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies and supporting stabilisation of ways of working

  • Ensuring all activity aligns with governance, compliance, and health and safety requirements

You'll bring

  • Demonstrated experience in a HR admin, operations or P&C support roles (HR, TA or office administration experience is desirable)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, compliance and quality service delivery

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced, high-volume environment

  • Professional and customer focused communication skills

  • Strong capability across Microsoft Office tools

  • Exposure to HRIS systems such as Workday (advantageous)

  • A proactive, reliable and improvement focused mindset

  • Interest in People & Culture processes and the employee lifecycle

  • Studying or completed tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (preferred)
