SHAPE Townsville is continuing to establish a long-term presence in Far North Queensland. Backed by a national, ASX-listed business, we combine proven expertise with local insight to deliver fitout, refurbishment and new build projects across a growing regional market.

Our Townsville team is tight knit, collaborative and in an exciting growth phase, supported by our experienced Brisbane leadership team who provide strong governance and delivery backing. We’re growing our capability across key sectors including commercial, education, health, defence, community infrastructure, hotels and transport.

About the role

This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role as Regional Manager, shaping our footprint in Townsville and driving meaningful growth across the region and embedding SHAPE as a trusted regional partner. You will take the lead of the region’s performance, including:

• Leading safe, profitable and high-quality project delivery
• Driving business growth through strong networks and market engagement
• Building and mentoring a capable, committed team
• Managing financial performance, planning and regional strategy
• Strengthening relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors

About you

You’re a commercially astute leader with strong local credibility and a passion for North Queensland. You bring:

• Proven experience in the construction industry (ideally fitout and refurbishment) across pre-construction and delivery
• A track record of leading teams and delivering successful projects in fast-paced environments
• Strong financial and commercial acumen across contracts, programming and project systems
• Well-established networks across Townsville and Far North Queensland
• The ability to build trust quickly and maintain strong, lasting relationships
• A genuine connection to the region and a desire to help shape its future
• Experience with Procore, JOBPAC or Microsoft Project will be highly regarded.
