Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components for HV/LV designs across substations and renewable energy projects.
- Conduct technical analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver energy-efficient solutions.
- Prepare detailed project documentation, including specifications and reports.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for ongoing operations.
- Contribute to project planning and resource allocation.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful applicant should have
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven expertise in energy and natural resources sector with a minimum of 4-5 years of expertise gained in Australia.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
- Experience with key softwares such as ETAP, DigSilent or Cymcap.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
