The Opportunity

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the UHT Manufacturing function to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality production outcomes. This role is accountable for performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery and people, while driving continuous improvement and contributing to site strategy as a key member of the Site Leadership Team.

Lead UHT manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, service, and cost targets.
Drive operational performance, including productivity, waste reduction, and cost optimisation.
Lead and develop a high-performing team, building capability and engagement.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including OEE, throughput, and reliability improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards.
Manage production planning execution, inventory accuracy, and material control.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to optimise site performance.
Contribute to capital projects, NPD, and site improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

You are an experienced manufacturing leader with a strong FMCG background and a proven track record of delivering operational performance through people and process excellence.

Experience leading large teams in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Proven ability to drive safety, quality, cost, and productivity outcomes.
Strong leadership capability with experience coaching and developing teams.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Operations, or related discipline (desirable).
