About the Role

As part of the site maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring electrical systems across a diverse mining fleet remain safe, reliable and productive. This role offers a mix of preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdown support in a fast-paced mining environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults on heavy mobile equipment
• Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance activities
• Completing breakdown repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
• Conducting inspections and testing of electrical systems and components
• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
• Contributing to continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
• Working in accordance with site safety procedures and maintenance standards

About You To be considered, you will have:

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
• Current Air Conditioning Licence/Ticket
• Experience working on mining, construction or heavy earthmoving equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
• Current Queensland Driver Licence or equivalent
• Experience on large excavators and mining equipment highly regarded
• A proactive attitude and commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
