The creation of production moulds for our resin manufacturing company as directed by Head of Production/Manufacturing.

Prioritise your workload by referring to your ‘Needs Spreadsheet’ for a list of current and upcoming product moulds required. Update the current status of each item and add in any missing products you may be working on.
Maintain a monthly tally on our Workings Program (or equivalent) of all moulds you have completed.
Label all moulds clearly with the exact product name and date of manufacture (i.e: Large Ball Bowl 06/08).
Perform test casts on all new moulds and follow products through sanding and tumbling prior to production commencing.
Follow up the progress of your products ensuring the mould is in good working condition and the product is coming through production correctly. Keep in mind any changes to the designs and moulds that may be required to produce a better result.
Replace any mould deterioration promptly, checking with the Production Manager and Casting Co-ordinator on any extra qualities that may be required. Advise of any foreseeable delays.
Destroy any superseded mould that may be confused with the replacement or final mould.
Advise Moulders/Head of Production of all materials and supplies you require, taking care to minimize unnecessary waste and expense.

Attend and contribute to meetings when required.

Ensure work areas are clean and operational at all times.
Monitor and maintain quality standards of all moulds and products made at every stage of production.
Participate in any other aspects of production and general studio cleaning when and where required.

Comply with all HSE requirements, Studio and Company policy and procedures in the various work areas of the studio.
Comply with HSE requirements ensuring correct protection is worn at all times.
Perform the appropriate stretches as required.
Report any spills/accidents to the Head of Production and/or Operations Manager.
Report any first aid or medical injuries to the Head of Production.
