Project Services Manager

Join Lochard Energy at a pivotal time of growth as we commence the initial phase of work on a large-scale Gas-Powered Generation (GPG) project and continue with further gas storage projects critical to Australia’s energy transition. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where you will build capability, influence strategy, and enable the successful delivery of large complex projects.

About The Role

As Project Services Manager, you will lead and integrate all project services functions across Lochard’s capital project portfolio. You will establish and drive best practice across project controls, estimating, reporting, risk and governance, enabling high-quality insights for executive and Board decision-making.

This role is central to ensuring our projects are delivered with discipline, transparency and control, while uplifting systems, processes and team capability to support a growing pipeline of transformational projects.

You Are a Seasoned Project Services Leader With Deep Experience In Major Capital Projects And a Passion For Building Capability And Driving Performance. You Have

• 15+ years’ experience in project controls within energy or infrastructure
• Proven experience leading project services / PMO functions
• Strong expertise across planning, cost control, estimating and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and leadership teams
• Experience supporting large-scale projects and governance frameworks
• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or similar

Job responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing project services function (planning, cost, estimating, document control)
• Drive best practice project controls, including integrated scheduling, cost forecasting and change management
• Deliver clear, data-driven reporting (KPIs, dashboards, Board-level insights)
• Oversee development of robust capital cost estimates
• Strengthen project governance, risk management and assurance processes (in accordance with FEL stage gates)
• Partner with Project Managers, Finance and leadership teams to enable enterprise decision-making
• Uplift systems, processes and capability to support large-scale project deliver
