ABOUT THE ROLE

Permanent | Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Join Pickles as a State Sales Manager, leading a high-performing Industrial Sales team across Central and North Queensland. Based across Rockhampton, Moranbah and Townsville, this role will see you regularly in market, working closely with customers, supporting your team, and driving auction outcomes across the region.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance coaching, customer engagement, and commercial performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

A typical day is fast-paced, commercially driven, and customer-focused. You will:

  • Lead and develop Sales Executives through active field engagement and structured performance coaching and development
  • Drive pipeline growth and conversion through strong CRM discipline and opportunity management
  • Work directly with customers to secure new business, inspect assets, and optimise remarketing strategies
  • Support negotiations and key deals to maximise asset returns and customer outcomes
  • Analyse regional performance data to identify trends, risks and growth opportunities
  • Align with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless outcomes for vendors and buyers

About You

  • Proven leadership experience in a sales or business development environment
  • Strong industry knowledge across trucks, transport, earthmoving or mobile plant assets
  • Demonstrated ability to build pipeline, win new business and drive results
  • High level of commercial acumen with strong negotiation capability
  • Experience utilising CRM systems to manage performance and opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build long-term customer relationships
  • Highly organised, resilient and solutions-focused
