We are looking for a Network Automation Engineer to design, build, and optimize automated network solutions across enterprise and cloud environments. The role focuses on leveraging DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles to improve network efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Network Automation & Engineering
Design and implement automated network solutions and frameworks
Automate network configuration, deployment, and monitoring processes
Build reusable automation scripts and tools to streamline operations
Scripting & DevOps
Develop scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages
Use automation/IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent
Support CI/CD and DevOps practices for network infrastructure [
Network Operations
Monitor network performance and ensure reliability
Troubleshoot issues such as latency, outages, and connectivity problems
Support upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance of network systems
Cloud & Hybrid Networking
Work across cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Support container networking and hybrid cloud ecosystems
Contribute to Software Defined Networking (SDN) initiatives
Security & Compliance
Implement network security configurations (firewalls, VPNs, access controls)
Ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards
Support secure network design and operations
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in network automation and DevOps (infra/network focus)
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
Hands-on with Ansible, Terraform, or other IaC tools
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, protocols, routing, etc.)
Experience with cloud networking (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Knowledge of network monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
Skills & Experience Required
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Hands-on experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering
Expertise in CI/CD, IaC, and automation
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, containers
Security Clearance
Current Baseline Security Clearance and willingness to upgrade to NV1
Australian Citizens with ability to obtain a clearance considered
Must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week
