Business Review Group (BRG) is seeking an experienced Project Support Officer to support a major Defence capability program based in Adelaide.
Working within a complex and highly regulated environment, you will provide project coordination and administrative support to enable effective program control, reporting and governance activities. You will work closely with project managers and senior stakeholders to support day-to-day operations, maintain accurate records and documentation, and contribute to the successful delivery of program outcomes.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Project Support Officer, Project Coordinator or Program Support Officer with Defence, Government or large-scale project experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project coordination and administrative support across complex program activities.
- Support project managers and senior team members through the maintenance of accurate records, documentation and project information.
- Coordinate project activities and assist with the management of project data and reporting requirements.
- Support day-to-day project operations and contribute to reporting and governance activities.
- Maintain information integrity and accuracy across project documentation and records.
- Support project assurance activities through accurate record keeping and data tracking.
- Ensure compliance with established project management frameworks, processes and templates.
- Assist with audits, reviews and information requests as required.
- Support governance and reporting activities across the broader program team.
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in a Project Support Officer, Project Coordinator, Program Support Officer or similar role.
- Strong project coordination and administrative skills.
- Experience maintaining project documentation, registers and records.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience supporting reporting, governance or assurance activities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Desirable Experience
- Defence or Commonwealth Government experience.
- Experience supporting engineering, technical or design-focused project teams.
- Experience working within highly regulated or security-sensitive environments.
- Familiarity with project management frameworks and governance processes.
