We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP EPPM Consultant to join a fast-growing tier 1 consulting firm in Brisbane. This role is suited to a strong management consulting professional with deep expertise in SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) and the ability to lead end-to-end transformation initiatives.

You will play a critical role in shaping, designing, and delivering enterprise-wide portfolio and project management solutions, working closely with senior client stakeholders and leading cross-functional delivery teams across onshore and offshore models.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Solution Leadership

• Lead the design, build, and implementation of SAP EPPM solutions across the full project lifecycle (Discover, Design, Build, Test, Deploy).
• Define and implement enterprise portfolio management frameworks, aligning with business strategy and investment governance.
• Drive integration of EPPM with core SAP modules (e.g. Finance, PS, EAM).

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (CFO, CIO, PMO leadership).
• Lead client workshops, facilitate design decisions, and translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Present solution designs and implementation roadmaps to executive audiences.

Delivery Excellence

• Ensure high-quality delivery across multiple end-to-end EPPM implementations.
• Provide leadership across onshore/offshore teams, ensuring alignment, productivity, and accountability.
• Manage scope, risks, and dependencies across complex transformation programs.

Business & Functional Consulting

• Define portfolio governance, demand management, project execution, and reporting frameworks.
• Implement best practices in TOTEX (Total Expenditure) planning, budgeting, and capital management.
• Drive adoption of standard processes and fit-to-standard principles.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to building a high-performing SAP practice.
• Foster a collaborative team culture, working effectively with global delivery teams.
• Contribute to thought leadership and capability development in EPPM and related areas.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 12–15+ years of SAP experience, with strong focus on EPPM / PPM / PS.
• Proven track record of at least 2 end-to-end SAP EPPM implementations.
• Strong experience in solution design and delivery leadership across large-scale SAP programs.
• Demonstrated management consulting capability, including stakeholder engagement and advisory.
• Experience working with distributed/onshore–offshore delivery models.
• Deep understanding of:
• Portfolio & project lifecycle management
• Capital planning and investment governance
• Resource and financial planning within SAP EPPM
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at C-level and executive level.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with TOTEX budgeting frameworks and capital optimisation strategies.
• Exposure to SAP Signavio (process modelling, transformation insights).
• Experience across asset-intensive industries (e.g. utilities, mining, infrastructure) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA embedded EPPM capabilities.
