Are you ready for a hands‑on role delivering expert service across pumps, irrigation and automation systems?

About the Role

As a Service Technician you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality irrigation services that support service and project delivery across Darling Irrigation.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out installations, repairs and service work on a variety of pumps and water systems, including stock water, solar pumps, diesel engines, drip irrigation, centre pivots, filtration systems and automation.
  • Undertaking where applicable fault finding and diagnostics across a variety of equipment with a focus on irrigation pumps, filtration systems and automation.
  • Demonstrating clear and open communication with customers, fellow team members and a flexible approach.
  • Working within a team environment with a strong desire for the team to succeed.
  • Working unsupervised on location with a strong commitment to safety.

About You

You will have:

  • Well-developed technical and product knowledge in the irrigation industry, particularly in poly welding, pressurised irrigation systems, pump stations, centre pivots, filtration, automation and other irrigation systems, and solar installation experience (desirable)
  • Relevant qualifications, licences and certifications (for example, poly welding ticket, white card, manual drivers licence, and HR licences)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and / or jobs at one time
  • High attention to detail and strong customer service skills
