Based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne, this role offers flexible hybrid working—3 days in the office or on-site and 2 days from home.

We’re Looking For a...

A technically strong Defects & Warranty Manager who can uplift existing processes, define standards, and build capability across a growing national portfolio, will driving positive and consistent customer outcomes.

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead the uplift of Stockland’s defect and warranty function across built form, playing a key role in shaping how we deliver quality outcomes for our customers.

  • Establish and lead a centralised defects and warranty team across Apartments, Land Lease and Master Planned Communities
  • Act as a central technical authority on residential defects, providing expert guidance on defect classification, standards, and resolution pathways and acting as a point of escalation for complex warranty matters
  • Define and implement best practice processes, standards and governance across the lifecycle
  • Build and lead a high-performing team to support delivery and drive consistency
  • Partner with Development, Project Management and Customer teams to embed quality and continuous improvement
  • Identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities to enhance customer outcomes and operational efficiency

About You

You’re passionate about delivering quality outcomes and creating a seamless customer experience. You have a strong working knowledge of applicable building standards, tolerances and statutory requirements, with the ability to apply these in defect determination and dispute resolution.

Experience & Skills That Count

  • Experience leading or building high-performing teams
  • Strong technical expertise in defects and warranty management
  • Demonstrated commitment to driving positive customer outcomes
  • Proven experience handling complex customer escalations
  • Experience across residential developments (apartments, land lease or master planned communities)
  • Proven ability to establish or uplift processes, frameworks and standards
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills
