Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Clinical or Health Psychologists to join the Persistent Pain Management Service and the Allied Health Psychology team.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.

About the Role

This role will involve:

• Psychological assessment and targetedbut flexibleinterventionsfor individualsexperiencing persistent pain
• Individual therapy and facilitation of specialised group sessions
• Contributing to improved functioning and quality of life for our diverse patients
• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, including pain physicians and other allied health staff

This is a 12-month fixed-term Grade 3 part-timeposition(0.4 EFT, 30.4 hours per fortnight), however suitably experienced Grade 2 Psychologists arealsoencouraged to apply.
