Currently undergoing a large-scale digital transformation, the business is investing heavily in technology to drive operational efficiency, improve reporting and support continued growth.

You’ll be joining during an exciting phase where Dynamics 365 is being further embedded and optimised across the organisation.

Your new role

As a D365 Finance & Operations Functional Specialist, you will take ownership of hands-on functional configuration and system optimisation across a live ERP environment.

Working closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams, you’ll ensure Dynamics 365 is effectively configured, tested, and continuously improved to support operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Hands-on configuration across D365 F&O (entities, forms, workflows, business rules, security roles)
• Supporting manufacturing and warehousing processes
• Translating business needs into functional solutions aligned with best practice
• Identifying system improvement opportunities and configuration gaps
• Creating and executing test scenarios including UAT and regression testing
• Delivering functional documentation and supporting end users
• Troubleshooting functional issues and supporting ongoing enhancements

This is a full-time role within a highly collaborative operational environment based in Melbourne.

What will you need to succeed?

• 7+ years’ experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Strong hands-on configuration experience across core D365 modules
• Background in manufacturing or warehousing environments
• Experience with testing (UAT, regression, test planning)
• Ability to translate requirements into practical functional solutions
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Experience with integrations and data migration
