We’re on the hunt for a Spray Painter and Powder Coater to join our Surface Treatment Team. This role would involve a varied schedule of spray painting and blasting our refuge chambers and powder coating all our steel frames.

About You
Licenses
- C Class Australian Drivers Licence
- Forklift Ticket would be advantageous
Experience
- Preparing surfaces for powder coating
- Operating equipment for a batch oven powder coating system
- Using an airless spray gun for painting
- Knowledge of two pack industrial paint systems – epoxy & polyurethane
- Use of blasting equipment
- Assisting with touch ups and repairs
- Use of hand and power tools
- Ensuring that the surrounding work area and workshops are maintained in a clean and safe state
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- The ability to use initiative when required and take ownership of assigned tasks through to completion
- Commitment to safety and quality
