We’re on the hunt for a Spray Painter and Powder Coater to join our Surface Treatment Team. This role would involve a varied schedule of spray painting and blasting our refuge chambers and powder coating all our steel frames.

About You

Licenses

• C Class Australian Drivers Licence
• Forklift Ticket would be advantageous

Experience

• Preparing surfaces for powder coating
• Operating equipment for a batch oven powder coating system
• Using an airless spray gun for painting
• Knowledge of two pack industrial paint systems – epoxy & polyurethane
• Use of blasting equipment
• Assisting with touch ups and repairs
• Use of hand and power tools
• Ensuring that the surrounding work area and workshops are maintained in a clean and safe state
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• The ability to use initiative when required and take ownership of assigned tasks through to completion
• Commitment to safety and quality
