What you will be doing
This is a true generalist role where no two days are the same. You’ll work across the full employee lifecycle, supporting People Operations, Talent & Workforce Planning, and Learning & Development.
Working closely with leaders and employees, you’ll deliver people first, compliant and efficient outcomes that enhance the employee experience and build workforce capability. You will:
- Be the trusted first point of contact for our people and leaders, providing practical, human centred advice
- Keep people operations running smoothly, from contracts and onboarding to employee changes, credentials and compliance
- Maintain accurate HRIS and payroll data, ensuring integrity, compliance and timely updates
- Support and continuously improve P&C policies, processes and practices
- Deliver workforce reporting and insights to inform decision-making and planning
- Support workplace health & safety, including compliance, WorkCover and return to work coordination
- Contribute to workforce planning through role design, classification and benchmarking
- Partner on recruitment activities to meet evolving workforce needs
- Coordinate learning and development, including LMS administration, compliance and program delivery
- Support capability uplift initiatives, including external partnerships and qualifications (e.g. Cert III)
- Contribute to P&C projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Pitch in where needed with a flexible, team first mindset
You will Thrive in this role if you have
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or similar (or you’re close to finishing)
- Practical experience in a P&C Generalist role, with a good understanding of the employee lifecycle
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, you keep things accurate, compliant and running smoothly
- High levels of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with care and discretion
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and a variety of HRIS systems to manage data and support operations
- Great communication skills and a natural ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse workforce
- A curious, solutions‑focused mindset, with strong analytical and problem‑solving ability
- Working knowledge of Fair Work legislation, industrial relations and contemporary HR practices
- Bonus points for experience in aged care.
- Relevant compliance checks (or willingness to obtain).
