Project Controller / Planner (Contract)6-Month Contract | View to Extend | ASAP Start Are you an experienced Project Controller / Planner looking for your next contract opportunity?

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Project Controller / Planner to join a reputable commercial builder on a major building project. This is an initial 6-month contract role with the strong potential to extend based on project requirements and performance.

Working closely with the Project Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for programme management, progress reporting, delay analysis, and commercial claims support to ensure successful project delivery.

The Role Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Developing, maintaining, and updating detailed project programmes
• Monitoring project progress against baseline schedules
• Identifying critical path activities and potential programme risks
• Preparing weekly and monthly programme updates and reports
• Producing look-ahead schedules and recovery programmes
• Conducting delay and disruption analysis
• Supporting Extension of Time (EOT) assessments and claims
• Assisting with commercial claims preparation and programme-related contractual matters
• Working closely with project delivery teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Providing strategic planning advice to mitigate project delays and risks
• Supporting cost, resource, and productivity forecasting where required

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Project Controller, Planner, or Senior Planner within the commercial construction sector
• Strong commercial building project experience
• Demonstrated experience supporting commercial claims, EOT submissions, and delay analysis
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery methodologies
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work autonomously and provide proactive project support
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
