The interim Management Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Monitor and manage cost controls to optimise financial performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
- Provide insights into financial trends and recommend improvements.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial projects as required.
The Successful Applicant
- A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong excel skills & experience dealing with large data sets - Power Query
- Ability to pick up systems quickly & prior experience dealing with an ERP system
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
