Marketing & PR Coordinator

Robert Walters

Are you a PR and communications enthusiast with a flair for broader marketing strategy? A leading property developer is seeking a Marketing & PR Coordinator to actively support end-to-end campaign delivery and general marketing workflows.

Role Overview

The Marketing & PR Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing the public image and communication strategies of our premium property portfolio. While supporting general marketing functions (such as digital collateral, events, and brand alignment), your core focus will be to amplify our press presence, craft compelling narratives, and maintain exceptional relationships with media partners, stakeholders, and the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary internal contact for PR; liaise with external PR agencies to pitch stories, coordinate press releases, and secure high-tier media coverage.
  • Write and edit compelling copy for press releases, editorial features, executive profiles, award submissions, and internal communications.
  • Assist in the execution of project marketing campaigns, ensuring all public-facing messaging aligns with PR objectives.
  • Support the planning and execution of VIP launch events, sod-turning ceremonies, and media previews.
  • Collaborate with the digital team to ensure PR wins are effectively amplified across social media, EDMs, and the corporate website.

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Marketing, PR, or Corporate Communications role (Agency experience or a background in property/luxury brands is highly regarded).
  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing.
  • A gifted storyteller with impeccable grammar, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences (from corporate media to consumer lifestyle).
  • A solid understanding of the Australian media landscape and experience managing relationships with journalists or agency partners.
  • A self-starter who notices the "gaps" and jumps in to fill them, comfortably managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
