About The Role

The Treasury Dealer is part of the Treasury team, which is responsible for ensuring the organisation has appropriate and cost‑effective funding. You will be involved in supporting cash management, monitoring exposure to interest rate and foreign exchange (FX) movements, maintaining external credit ratings and supporting projects.

Due to an internal promotion, this is a permanent position, based at 2MQ working in a hybrid environment with at least 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cash efficiently, balancing investing and borrowing to minimise interest costs
  • Ensure sufficient short‑term liquidity to meet day‑to‑day business needs
  • Analyse cash performance and identify opportunities to improve usage across the business
  • Support accurate cash forecasting, including annual planning and regular updates with insights
  • Oversee short‑term cash forecasts to enable effective cash management decisions
  • Manage treasury reporting, debt facilities, foreign currency risk, and key internal/external relationships

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
  • Experience working in treasury, corporate finance, or banking
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of City Financials an advantage
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively
  • Well‑developed communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • High attention to detail with initiative to see tasks through to completion
