About the role
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the delivery of a complex, multi-stream technology program:
This role is accountable for overseeing the migration of legacy and on-premise workloads to modern, cloud-based platforms, enabling improved scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency across the organisation.
You will manage a portfolio of interrelated initiatives, ensuring alignment to business outcomes, effective governance, and delivery to agreed timelines and budgets. The program spans multiple technology domains and requires close collaboration across business, technology, and delivery partners.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a multi-stream program, ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and interdependencies, ensuring coordinated and sequenced delivery
- Establish and maintain strong program governance, including reporting, risk management, and escalation processes
- Provide clear and concise program reporting to senior stakeholders, including status, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Align program delivery to strategic business outcomes, including platform modernisation, risk reduction, and operational efficiency
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
- Coordinate delivery across internal teams and external partners
- Oversee transition planning, service readiness, and handover to business-as-usual operations
- Manage program budget and track delivery against approved funding parameters
Program scope
The program includes a range of project initiatives focused on modernising core technology capabilities, including:
- Migration of legacy applications and infrastructure to cloud-based platforms
- Modernisation of collaboration and document management capabilities
- Transformation of core operational services and supporting systems
- Consolidation and uplift of supporting infrastructure and data services
Measures of success
- Delivery of program outcomes within approved timelines and budget
- Successful migration of legacy workloads to modern platforms with minimal disruption
- Reduction in operational risk associated with legacy technology
- Strong stakeholder engagement
- Effective governance and risk management throughout delivery
- Establishment of repeatable delivery patterns and improved operating capability for future initiatives
