As a Business Analysis - Specialist, and part of the Product Management Team. you'll play a critical role in bridging client needs and technical solutions — translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable outcomes that drive client satisfaction and product excellence across global markets.

What You’ll Do
- Elicit, document, and manage detailed business and system requirements across the full development lifecycle, ensuring clarity for both clients and internal teams.
- Partner with engineering, design, and operations teams to produce and maintain solution documentation and supporting materials.
- Carry out functional and thematic reviews of existing detection solutions, ensuring accuracy of the models and appropriate application to regulatory requirements.
- Produce functional specifications, user documentation, and supporting materials to ensure our solution is functioning correctly, and in line with expectations.
- Contribute to project planning, risk identification, and scope management, while identifying opportunities to enhance and develop the solution.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in financial markets, capital markets, trading operations and/or compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory environments within the financial services domain.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; hands-on experience or familiarity with AI tools.
Nice to Have
- Practical experience using Jira for task tracking and project management
- Experience working with Confluence for documentation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration
- Previous experience in a Trade Surveillance role within a compliance capacity
This position will be located in Sydney, Australia, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 2 days a week in-office, subject to change.
This is a permanent, full-time role so candidates should have full working rights in Australia. To be eligible to apply, you must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency status.
