Currently based in Strathmore
BAND 4, salary commencing at $39.90 per hour plus 12% superannuation (commensurate with experience)

In this role, you will:

Create engaging, play based learning programs that inspire curiosity and confidence
Support and contribute to curriculum planning, documentation and reflection
Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
Use intentional teaching strategies to extend children’s learning
Provide guidance and leadership within the room, supporting best practice
Work in alignment with Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and EYLF

About You

You are someone who…

Holds a Diploma of Children’s Services (or equivalent)
Bring experience in kindergarten or early childhood settings
Has a strong understanding of the NQF, EYLF and Child Safe Standards
Enjoys mentoring others and contributing to a positive team culture
Is passionate about inclusive, warm, child-centered, and culturally responsive education
Communicated with warmth, professionalism and confidence

You will also hold

Working with children check (employee)
First aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications
Protecting Children – Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector Training
National Child Safety Training Modules (module 1 & 2)
