  • Currently based in Strathmore
  • BAND 4, salary commencing at $39.90 per hour plus 12% superannuation (commensurate with experience)

In this role, you will:

  • Create engaging, play based learning programs that inspire curiosity and confidence
  • Support and contribute to curriculum planning, documentation and reflection
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Use intentional teaching strategies to extend children’s learning
  • Provide guidance and leadership within the room, supporting best practice
  • Work in alignment with Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and EYLF

About You

You are someone who…

  • Holds a Diploma of Children’s Services (or equivalent)
  • Bring experience in kindergarten or early childhood settings
  • Has a strong understanding of the NQF, EYLF and Child Safe Standards
  • Enjoys mentoring others and contributing to a positive team culture
  • Is passionate about inclusive, warm, child-centered, and culturally responsive education
  • Communicated with warmth, professionalism and confidence

You will also hold

  • Working with children check (employee)
  • First aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications
  • Protecting Children – Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector Training
  • National Child Safety Training Modules (module 1 & 2)
