About The Opportunity
Our client, a publicly listed company, recently achieved a major milestone and is experiencing exciting growth. With full ownership of a key asset in South Aor ustralia, the company reaffirms its vision to become a leading global supplier. Based in the Adelaide office on a 12-month fixed-term contract, this newly created role focuses on formalizing and modernizing procurement strategy and agreements.
Your New Role Will Involve
- Sourcing, negotiating, and executing service agreements for core operational and technical functions to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Managing end-to-end tendering processes to establish key essential service agreements, moving the company toward formalized contracts.
- Collaborating with operational stakeholders to develop SOWs, SLAs, and KPIs, as well as managing supplier queries and evaluation.
- Procuring a diverse range of equipment and facilities categories.
- Prioritizing operational outcomes to support frontline teams, allowing them to focus purely on keeping core operations running smoothly.
What You Will Need to Apply
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement of operational support services in a capital-intensive environment.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, complex infrastructure environments.
- Some experience using ERP systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with busy internal project managers and operational staff.
- Strong capacity to negotiate, write procurement plans, and conduct data-driven cost analysis.
