This is a great opportunity to be part of the world’s largest bulk export port authority, encompassing the operating ports of Ashburton, Dampier, Port Hedland and Varanus Island, and five future port sites. The Maintenance Principal East provides leadership, direction and guidance to the Mechanical and Civil Maintenance teams to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient performance of Pilbara Ports owned assets at the Port of Port Hedland, including the Utah Bulk Handling Facility, Eastern Harbour and Lumsden Point.
Working closely with the Terminal Operations Manager East Pilbara, Supervisors, Asset Planning, Engineering and Major Projects teams, this role is responsible for driving effective maintenance planning, contractor performance and continuous improvement to support operational reliability and asset integrity.
About You

You are a qualified and experienced maintenance or engineering leader with a strong background in heavy industry, ports or similar asset?intensive environments. You bring proven experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams in safety?critical operations and are motivated by asset reliability, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
You are a highly effective communicator who builds strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve safe, compliant and efficient maintenance outcomes.
With demonstrated experience in large scale fixed plant operations and maintenance, you are adept at managing competing priorities while ensuring strong compliance across safety, risk and environmental obligations.
