The Role
The Automotive Segment Lead will define where JET Charge wins in the automotive market and build the capability, offerings and go-to-market approach that drives growth.
This is not a software product management role.
We’re looking for someone who understands markets, customers and commercial opportunities; someone who can translate insight into strategy, influence investment decisions, build autonomously and help teams across the business execute with confidence.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the strategic owner of JET Charge’s automotive segment, responsible for:
- Define the market opportunities we should pursue.
- Develop segment strategy and influence business priorities.
- Lead market intelligence, customer insight and competitive analysis.
- Build compelling, scalable offerings that solve customer problems, including using technology and AI to produce prototypes, automations, processes, features and customer-facing materials and journeys.
- Develop go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Equip sales and commercial teams with the tools, knowledge and frameworks they need to succeed.
- Build repeatable systems, processes and decision-making frameworks that improve how the organisation operates.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled tools and modern ways of working.
What We’re Looking For
You may come from product management, commercial strategy, consulting, business development, automotive, energy or a related field.
What matters most is your ability to distill customer insights, identify commercial opportunities, define strategy and build, rest and iterate with pace.
You’ll Bring
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives
- Design thinking and customer discovery capability
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data and market insights
- Able to use technology and AI to solve problems, improve workflows and independently build practical outputs such as analysis, prototypes, automations, product features and customer facing materials/journeys
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- The ability to operate autonomously and influence at senior leadership level.
Experience in automotive, EV charging, mobility, energy or infrastructure sector is highly regarded.
