The Role

Visual Merchandiser to join our team, supporting our NSW portfolio.

Reporting to VM Design & Operations, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality visual merchandising execution across multiple stores, ensuring the Cable brand is brought to life through consistent, impactful and commercially driven displays.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys working across multiple locations, and has a strong eye for detail and design. You will play a key role in implementing VM direction, supporting store teams, and ensuring our brand standards are executed to the highest level.

With strong exposure to campaign execution, store openings, and team training, this role offers a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the business.

This is a casual role, working two days per week—ideally Wednesday to Friday, with some flexibility to work Tuesday if required.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • VM Implementation – Execute VM briefs and directives across stores, including seasonal and promotional window displays, ensuring alignment with brand standards
  • Store Support & Relationships – Build strong relationships with Retail and VM teams to ensure consistent execution and understanding of VM direction
  • In-store Styling & Layouts – Assist with floor plans, lifestyle adjacencies and overall store presentation to maximise visual impact and sales
  • Campaign & Window Execution – Implement window concepts and campaign direction in line with key marketing activity
  • Training & Coaching – Support and train store teams on VM standards and expectations, ensuring best practice is maintained
  • Store Openings & Projects – Assist with new store openings and VM project coordination as required
  • Communication & Feedback – Provide timely VM feedback to key stakeholders and collaborate closely with Product, Marketing and Retail teams
  • Sales Support – Identify opportunities to support sales performance during store visits where needed
  • OH&S – Ensure all VM activities are conducted safely and in line with company standards

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Visual Merchandising role, ideally within fashion retail
  • A passion for womenswear fashion and strong brand awareness
  • Proven ability to execute VM direction across multiple locations
  • Strong eye for detail with a creative and commercial mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple stores and priorities
  • A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach
  • Strong problem-solving and initiative-taking capability
  • Sound computer skills and willingness to develop further
  • A current driver’s licence and ability to travel regularly
