What this job involves

As the Operations Manager – Engineering & Operations Solutions at QLD Wynnum Plaza, you will report to the Centre Manager, you will ensure the proper and efficient operation of all physical aspects of the centre, creating a safe and productive environment for occupants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities include

Actively manage Workplace Health & Safety requirements, ensuring compliance with client and JLL policies

Implement and maintain property risk management programmes, including annual independent audits

Proactively manage and maintain building services to a high standard

Monitor and manage operational expenditure within +/- 2% of approved annual budget

Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with Risk Management Policy and Work Safe Procedures

Facilitate retail tenancy design reviews and manage fitout contractors on-site

Manage capital expenditure budget and maintain Asset Registers and Lifecycle Plans

Drive sustainability initiatives to meet annual targets and minimise waste to landfill

Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:

Minimum five years' building services or other transferrable experience

Sound technical aptitude (trade qualifications highly regarded)

Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills

Excellent written and oral communication abilities

Computer literacy and intermediate IT knowledge

Previous construction, budgeting, and forecasting experience beneficial
