Overview

Work with a government organisation to support the Manager Delivery Excellence and the Business Architect in building and embedding a Business Process Management Centre of Excellence. You will help drive business and process architecture and deliver a range of BPM initiatives that strengthen how the organisation operates. This role is stakeholder facing and ensures BPM technology, methodologies, governance and ongoing management are consistently applied to improve service and process outcomes.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a similar organisation leading continuous improvement designed to deliver successful change and transformation in a complex environment
  • High level research, analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and risks across the business and collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions
  • Demonstrated understanding of business process management methods, practices and BPM tools, for example BPMN, IBM Blueworks, SAP Signavio and other BPM or BPI methods
  • Proven ability to provide leadership in customer and employee experience, including experience negotiating and influencing stakeholders across levels
  • Proven success in developing and maintaining relationships, influencing outcomes, making decisions and motivating others to achieve key work priorities
  • Superior engagement, networking, communication and influencing skills to operate seamlessly across all levels
  • Ability to provide advice, guidance and direction to stakeholders on appropriate BPM priorities to support responsible investment, effective decision making and benefit realisation

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience implementing, embedding and maturing process excellence frameworks and improving business process management maturity across an organisation
  • Experience coordinating group wide process and service performance reviews to ensure alignment with best practice and consistent end to end service experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining business process management documents, tools, resources and training materials that build organisational knowledge and awareness

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Preferred education details were not provided. Relevant qualifications in areas such as business process management, business analysis, information systems or a related discipline are desirable
  • Preferred experience level is proven and relevant, including leadership in continuous improvement, change and transformation through BPM initiatives in a complex environment

Other Requirements

  • Liaise with project teams, service owners, capability owners, process owners, business process practitioners and a BPM technology vendor, building effective stakeholder relationships
