Do you have what it takes to become a Smartgroup Dealer Relationship Manager?

Smartgroup is seeking a dynamic and motivated Dealer Relationship Manager to join our team in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing relationships with dealership representatives, increasing brand awareness, and expanding our market share.

As we continue to grow our dealer network and market presence, we are looking to extend this capability nationally, creating broader opportunities for impact and career growth across the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Relationship building: develop strong rapport with key stakeholders, including dealership representatives, Procurement and Disposal teams, and Client Relationship Managers.
  • Brand awareness: promote Smartgroup's brand and offerings through effective stakeholder relationships, dealership visits, and active promotion.
  • Opportunity conversion: convert opportunities into settled deals through excellent customer service and effective interactions.
  • Cross-selling: identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities with dealerships.
  • Dealer engagement: evaluate and engage with dealers to identify those best aligned for reciprocal business, including potential Disposal Partners.
  • Compliance: ensure confidentiality, privacy, and integrity of information in line with privacy requirements and legislative obligations.

Who you are:

  • Experience in a relationship-building role within the motor vehicle industry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving results.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and network with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in growing business opportunities and transactional sales through partnerships.
  • Familiarity with insurance products, the motor vehicle industry, and/or finance.
