Purchasing & Procurement Specialist, Energy Service

What To Expect

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing & Procurement Specialist to coordinate and manage the sourcing and procurement of goods and services for the APAC Energy & Charging business unit. The ideal candidate will build strong vendor and service partner relationships while supporting the organisation’s cost-efficiency goals.

What You'll Do

• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and maintain relationships with vendors and service partners in APAC Energy & Charging service regions.
• Manage the procurement process for Energy Services in APAC i.e. manage the process of sourcing and procuring goods and services through competitive bidding, RFX activities (RFQ, RFP, RFI), and negotiations including vendor conversation and alignment with regional Tesla’s Procurement Managers and legal team.
• Analyse good and service consumption data to develop cost-effective purchasing strategies / recommendations.
• Establish and manage Master Service Agreements (MSA) with key vendors and service partners.
• Raise purchase requisition and manage purchase orders for all bespoke goods and services.
• Track expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and service partners.
• Identify and implement risk management strategies related to supply and service disruptions e.g. remote area risks.
• Stay current on APAC Energy & Charging Service growth/needs.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in energy procurement or purchasing.
• Experience in contracts management & negotiation
• Operations experiences.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
