About the role
Deliver holistic maternal and women's primary healthcare across remote NT communities. Share a caseload of 50–65 clients, providing continuity of care through pregnancy, contraception, and cervical screening. Collaborate with Cultural Liaison Officers to build capability and ensure culturally secure care.
Duties
- Lead clinical care for women during pregnancy and the postnatal period
- Deliver comprehensive women’s health services, education, and preventative care
- Build trusted relationships with women, families, and remote communities
- Partner with remote healthcare teams to strengthen regional maternal capability
- Coordinate client care with hospitals, specialists, and multidisciplinary providers
Let's Talk About You
- Registered Midwife or Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA
- Proven experience in maternal and women's health care
- Background working within remote, rural, or Aboriginal community health settings
- Expertise in contraception, cervical screening, and health promotion
- Current manual driver’s license and ability to travel remotely
