Infrastructure Engineer
Orro Group
Adelaide or Canberra Onsite | PV Clearance Required | AU Citizenship | 12m + 12m Contract | $145 to $160 p/h | Closing: 23 June 2026
Not all infrastructure engineering roles are created equal. This one places you at the centre of mission critical systems supporting one of Australia's most important national security agencies. Working within the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD), you will support the implementation, sustainment and lifecycle management of core infrastructure spanning physical, virtual, networking and cloud environments. The work is technical, varied and consequential, covering the build, integration, configuration and decommissioning of systems that underpin secure digital services. If you bring strong infrastructure engineering fundamentals across hybrid environments and enjoy hands on technical delivery in a high trust setting, this role is built for you.

Availability and Continuous Improvement
- Analyse service and component availability, reliability, maintainability and serviceability against agreed performance targets
- Implement disaster recovery arrangements, document procedures and test recovery
- Configure tools or create scripts to automate provisioning, testing and deployment of new and changed infrastructure
- Provide feedback and proposals for improvement to inform current and future design decisions
What You'll Bring
The Essentials
