We're looking for a Cybersecurity & GRC Consultant who enjoys working closely with customers to identify risks, strengthen security capabilities, and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

You'll partner with organisations across a variety of industries, combining technical expertise with strategic advisory skills to deliver security assessments, incident response services, compliance programs, and governance initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver cybersecurity assessments and security uplift initiatives aligned to frameworks such as Essential Eight and ISO 27001.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing practical recommendations that improve resilience.
• Support customers with threat monitoring, security operations, and proactive risk reduction activities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and identify opportunities to strengthen security controls.
• Develop security policies, procedures, risk registers, and compliance documentation.
• Guide customers through compliance and certification journeys.
• Support ASI's internal ISO 27001 Information Security Management System.
• Collaborate with customers, technology partners, and internal teams to design and implement secure solutions.
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives and help build strong security cultures.

Essential

What you'll bring

• Strong experience working in cybersecurity, security consulting, security operations, or security engineering environments.
• Experience investigating and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
• Knowledge of security technologies including SIEM and endpoint security platforms.
• Experience performing security assessments, reviews, or testing activities.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices.
• Practical exposure to governance, risk, and compliance activities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple customer engagements while maintaining high-quality outcomes.

Desirable

• Microsoft security platform experience (Sentinel, Defender, Purview).
• ISO 27001 implementation or auditing experience.
• Security certifications or professional qualifications.
• Experience working within consulting or managed services organisations.
• Security awareness and training experience.
