The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist to join us as a subject matter expert in payroll systems and compliance. This is a critical role that will see you lead the governance and compliance of our time and attendance systems across 350+ sites, working with managers, HR Business Partners, and the Industrial Relations team to ensure accurate payroll processing and regulatory compliance.
You'll be at the forefront of managing system changes, delivering manager training, and driving continuous improvement across our UKG Pro, SAP Payroll, and SAP Employee Central platforms.

What you'll be responsible for
- Leading manager training and upskilling across the entire suite of systems, including onboarding new managers and providing end-to-end support
- Managing the change management process for system updates and configuration changes, including UAT coordination and go-live communications
- Interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Awards into system logic and configurations, serving as the subject matter expert for all EA and Award-related matters across 350+ sites
- Monitoring, developing, and enhancing reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for management decision-making
- Conducting compliance audits, exception reporting, and maintaining audit-ready documentation to ensure regulatory and organisational requirements are met
What you'll need to be successful
- 3-5 years of advanced experience with UKG Pro Time & Attendance systems required
- Strong industrial relations knowledge with a good understanding of Enterprise Agreements and Awards, and the ability to communicate this expertise to site managers
- Experience with SAP Payroll, SAP Employee Central, or SuccessFactors (ideal but not essential)
- High analytical capability with strong problem-solving skills, excellent documentation practices, and a commitment to governance excellence
- Excellent communication and training abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively across multiple teams
