About The Role

As the Lifestyle Coordinator, your key responsibilities revolve around creating and implementing lifestyle programs that enhance the quality of life and well-being of our residents. This is essential in promoting social engagement, mental stimulation, and physical activity for the residents.

  • Activity Planning: Develop and design a diverse range of lifestyle programs tailored to the residents' interests, abilities, and preferences
  • Resident Assessment: Create and review Lifestyle Assessments to ensure needs-based programming is occurring
  • Program Implementation: Oversee the execution of planned activities and events. Ensure that the activities are well-organized, safe, and inclusive, allowing all residents to participate to the maximum of their abilities
  • Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers who can assist with activities and events

You will be an effective communicator, working collaboratively with clinical team members to ensure residents are encouraged to actively participate in leisure activities of interest to them.

What We’re Looking For

  • Cert IV Leisure & Health (essential)
  • Australian Driver’s license
  • Adaptability, creativity and passion for what you do!
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to foster a collaborative team culture
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable Lifestyle or Activities Coordinator role (essential)
