Holmesglen Private Hospital is currently looking for Registered Nurses to join our close-knit Cath Lab team on a casual basis. We work closely with highly skilled Cardiologists, Vascular surgeons and Radiologists to provide the best care for patients.

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
  • Collaborate with the Cath Lab team on Left Heart Catheters, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, Electrophysiology Ablations and Pacemaker Implants, Vascular and Interventional Radiology procedures.
  • Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice
  • Mentor Graduate Nurses and students on clinical rotation

The Hospital includes; 147 beds across 5 Wards providing Medical, Surgical and Rehabilitation Services, combined Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit, Emergency Department, 7 Operating Suites, Catheter Laboratory, Day of Surgery Admission and Day Infusion/Oncology Services.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ clinical experience in Cath Lab
  • Flexibility to work across a range of shifts and on call
  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
