This opportunity sits within the People & Culture (P&C) function of a leading national professional services firm, supporting a workforce of approximately 1,300 employees across multiple offices.

Working closely with an experienced Performance & Rewards Manager and the broader P&C team, this role provides critical support across remuneration and performance processes in a fast-paced, cyclical environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring reward programs are data-driven, equitable, and aligned with business strategy.

The role offers strong coaching and development, making it well suited to someone looking to deepen their expertise in performance and rewards within a partnership model. You’ll gain exposure to national stakeholders, complex remuneration frameworks, and ongoing projects such as enhancements to the career development framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support annual performance remuneration review cycles, including reporting and analysis
  • Conduct remuneration benchmarking activities, including survey submissions and insights
  • Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards and presentations for stakeholders
  • Respond to remuneration and performance-related queries from leaders and employees nationally
  • Support the delivery and communication of performance management and reward frameworks
  • Maintain and enhance the career development framework and its alignment to performance processes
  • Provide data analysis and insights, including gender pay gap reporting and market trends
  • Partner with internal teams and external providers to support reward initiatives
  • Contribute to employee engagement survey analysis and reporting
  • Monitor relevant legislative changes and support compliance activities
  • Provide ad hoc analytical and project support across performance & rewards initiatives

About you

  • 2+ years’ experience in remuneration and benefits within professional services, ideally with exposure to the legal industry
  • Strong Excel and data analysis capability, with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Exposure to remuneration benchmarking and market data (e.g. Mercer) advantageous
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders
  • Proactive, curious and a “go-getter” mindset, with a genuine interest in reward and performance
  • Able to manage competing priorities in cyclical, deadline-driven environments
  • Degree qualified in Business, Commerce or similar (preferred)
