PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Coordinate and oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of sewer headworks and wastewater treatment systems across the
Northern Region (Darwin and Katherine regions), ensuring compliance with service standards, regulatory requirements, and operational targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
- Operated and maintain Urban and Remote wastewater systems to agreed service levels and licence requirements through efficient and effective
management of the day-to-day operation and repairs of wastewater assets.
- Provide operational support to other regions across the Northern Territory as need, including travel to major centres, minor centres and remote
locations.
- Participate in a 24/7 service coverage and provide prompt response to system interruptions through participation in an on-call roster.
Assist in the development of preventative and planned corrective maintenance and minor capital works programs, ensuring accurate work order
close-out information (including relevant asset details) is recorded in the approved system.

- Safely and efficiently execute unplanned/planned works defined in a Works Program schedule.
- Coordinate, control and manage internal and external resources to achieve operational and maintenance programs as allocated.

Qualification and Skills Experience

- AQF Certificate IV in water or wastewater operations and or
- Demonstrated high level knowledge and experience in the
