Overview

Provide Systems Engineering within CASG's engineering management system to deliver effective sustainment of all SPO products and projects. Contribute to the development and maintenance of Product bespoke Engineering Management Plans (EMP).

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Product bespoke Engineering Management Plans (EMP).
• Develop planning artefacts within the JC4SPO Engineering Management System in accordance with ASDEFCON (Support) guidance documents.
• Execute plans in line with Product Schedule and endorsed Work Take On agreements and existing contractual arrangements.
• Identification of Product Engineering function scope, roles, skills, Technical Authority level, responsibilities and effort for each Product team.
• Reviewing and providing assurance that CDRL deliverables and Product deliverables received from vendors are Safe, Fit for purpose and environmentally compliant.
• Ensuring that product baseline with a correct configuration baseline is maintained and delivered on the agreed schedule.
• Engagement and conformance with Stakeholder Configuration Change Boards.
• Defining and providing for an effective System Safety Management System, including conduct of regular System Safety Working Groups.
• Obsolescence and Growth (Capacity) management planning.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering within a CASG or Defence context.
• Experience with ASDEFCON (Support) engineering management documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
• Strong understanding of product configuration management and Technical Authority processes.
• Experience managing engineering programs including BAU activities, system safety, and change board processes.
