Our client is looking for an experienced ICT Contract Manager to join a newly aligned Technology & Enterprise Services function, where you'll play a critical role in managing some of the organisation's most strategically important technology supplier relationships.

This is a role for someone who understands that software contracts are about far more than renewal dates and signatures. You'll be responsible for navigating complex enterprise software agreements, negotiating commercial outcomes, managing vendor performance and ensuring the organisation extracts maximum value while minimising commercial and contractual risk.

Enterprise software licensing, contract negotiations and vendor management sit at the heart of this position. The successful candidate will be comfortable sitting across the table from major technology vendors, challenging unfavourable terms, identifying licensing risks and negotiating improved commercial outcomes that protect the organisation both now and into the future.

Working closely with technology leaders, procurement specialists, legal teams and senior business stakeholders, you'll provide expert advice on software agreements, licensing structures and vendor commercial arrangements while helping shape longer-term ICT sourcing and vendor strategies.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading complex ICT contract negotiations and software renewals
  • Reviewing vendor terms and conditions and negotiating improved commercial positions
  • Providing expert advice on enterprise software licensing models and compliance obligations
  • Identifying, assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
  • Managing strategic technology vendor relationships and performance outcomes

What we're looking for

You will bring extensive experience managing high-value ICT contracts within complex corporate environments. Most importantly, you'll possess deep expertise across enterprise software licensing and commercial negotiations.

You'll likely have experience negotiating agreements involving major software vendors and will understand the commercial, legal and operational implications of different licensing models including subscription, SaaS, perpetual and consumption-based arrangements.

We're particularly interested in professionals who can demonstrate:

  • Strong experience negotiating enterprise software contracts and renewals
  • Deep understanding of software licensing structures and vendor commercial models
  • Proven ability to review and negotiate vendor terms and conditions
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and manage risk
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
  • Strategic thinking and the confidence to engage with senior leaders and executives
