Project Manager ERP/CRM

• 12-month day rate contract with strong potential for extension

• $700 - $900 per day including super, depending on experience

• Hybrid role with 3-4 days onsite across Melbourne’s eastern / south-eastern suburbs

Who you will be working with

You will join a founder-led business operating across white label manufacturing, product development, API procurement, packaging and supply chain services in the alternative medicine pharmaceutical sector.

The business has scaled rapidly and is now investing in fit-for-purpose ERP/MRP and CRM capability to improve operational visibility, reduce manual processes, strengthen production and inventory control and support its next phase of growth.

You will work closely with the founder, leadership team and stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, sales, customer service and operations.

Duties and responsibilities include

• Lead the ERP/MRP and CRM transformation from discovery through to rollout

• Map current workflows across production, inventory, procurement, sales, customer service, quality and finance

• Define practical business, functional, integration, security and compliance requirements

• Assess a range of suitable vendors/options across ERP/MRP, CRM, manufacturing, low-code and workflow automation platforms

• Coordinate vendor engagement, demonstrations, requirements validation and commercial discussions

• Build and manage the implementation plan across configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, training, cutover and post-go-live support

• Identify where automation, AI-enabled workflows and reporting tools can reduce manual work and improve operational visibility

We are looking for someone with

• Proven experience leading ERP, MRP and/or CRM systems implementation projects

• Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, procurement, sales or production workflows

• Comfortable working in a founder-led, high-growth organisation where processes are still maturing

• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and business analysis capability

• Experience assessing software platforms, engaging vendors and supporting solution selection

• Ability to manage external software vendors and internal stakeholders in a fast-moving business environment

Experience in GMP, pharmaceutical, healthcare, food manufacturing, cosmetics or another regulated manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
