Step into a role where you can shape how partnerships deliver real value. As a Specialist, Partnering Strategy & Performance with the Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA) Operations team, you will work closely with the business to strengthen how we engage, manage and optimise relationships with third parties. You will bring a commercial and risk lens to everyday decisions, turning data and insight into better outcomes. This is an opportunity to move beyond process and influence how performance, governance and value come together, helping the business make smarter, more confident decisions.

This is a 12-month max-term full-time role based in Meanjin (Brisbane), Naarm (Melbourne) or Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).

What You'll Do

• Deliver end-to-end procurement and partnering activities, balancing cost, value and sustainability while maintaining pace across multiple workflows without compromising quality
• Embed practical risk controls within contracts and partnerships, ensuring service levels, obligations and accountability align with business risk appetite
• Establish governance rhythms including performance reviews, risk forums and escalation pathways that drive clarity, ownership and action
• Analyse partnering data to identify trends, opportunities and risks, translating insights into clear, decision ready recommendations
• Partner with stakeholders across business, risk and procurement to influence decisions, challenge constructively and improve outcomes
• Monitor partner performance and compliance, ensuring agreements deliver intended value and risks are actively managed over time

What You'll Bring

• Experience delivering procurement, partnering or commercial outcomes with strong judgement on value and risk
• Ability to identify and manage third party risk, moving from contract execution to active performance oversight
• Confidence influencing stakeholders and navigating ambiguity in complex environments
• Strong communication skills with ability to present clear, concise and actionable insights
• Practical mindset with a focus on delivery, continuous improvement and real-world outcomes
• Curiosity and willingness to challenge existing approaches to drive better performance and efficiency
