We are seeking an experienced Senior ERP Project Manager to lead a high-profile ERP and Financial Management Information System (FMIS) transformation program within a Federal Government environment.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of a contemporary ERP solution, replacing legacy systems and enabling significant organisational capability uplift through the implementation of modern financial and business management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, evaluation and analysis of ERP replacement options.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from requirements validation through to implementation and transition.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams to support successful adoption of new ERP capabilities.
  • Identify, manage and escalate project risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level reporting, briefings and governance documentation.
  • Lead organisational change activities including stakeholder engagement, communications and training strategies.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Support business process transformation aligned to best-practice ERP capabilities.

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience delivering ERP transformation programs within complex Commonwealth Government or large enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience implementing and integrating Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS).
  • Strong understanding of ERP architecture, workflows, data management and integration methodologies.
  • Extensive Project and Program Management experience within a Federal Government Environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive organisational change.

Desirable Skills

  • Formal qualifications in Project Management and/or Change Management.
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies, frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with procurement and governance processes within Federal Government environments.
  • Familiarity with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
